&#8220;Ovo nije lijepo&#8221;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>2014 &#8211; 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tijekom proteklih nekoliko godina umjetnica Nina Horvat usmjerila je umjetni\u010dku aktivnost prema Gradu Zagrebu fokusiraju\u0107i se na negativnosti njegove urbane transformacije.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>U dosada\u0161njem radu umjetnicu karakterizira vi\u0161emedijski pristup, a upotreba odre\u0111enog medija ovisila je o podru\u010dju i temi kojom se bavila. Karakteristi\u010dno je to za umjetnike postkonceptualnih praksi koji u komunikaciji s javno\u0161\u0107u nomadski mijenjaju podru\u010dja i medije. Njena su djela u rasponu od analiti\u010dkog do figurativnog slikarstva od \u201czvu\u010dnih slika\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;do \u201cpokretnih slika\u201d,&nbsp;&nbsp;a na ovoj izlo\u017ebi primjenjuje slikarski postupak \u201clo\u0161eg slikarstva\u201d da bi \u0161to izra\u017eajnije predstavila svu brutalnost teme kojom se bavi, a to je Grad Zagreb. Mo\u017ee li umjetnost reprezentirati stvarnost pitanje je koje indirektno ovdje isti\u010de prenose\u0107i kriti\u010dki odabrane motive grada na slikarsko platno.&nbsp;&nbsp;\u201cNevje\u0161ti\u201d slikarski rukopis&nbsp;&nbsp;osigurao je umjetnici da ostvari distancu od motiva, da ne podlegne emocijama te da s \u201cestetikom ru\u017enog\u201d ne sklizne u \u010distu ekspresivnost nego da zadr\u017ei manifestativni karakter.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kao gra\u0111anka umjetnica se osjetila pozvanom reagirati na radikalne promjene slike Zagreba kakvog pozna i kakav joj je blizak pa se pridru\u017eila mnogima koji su protestno izra\u017eavali svoje neslaganje s takvim preoblikovanjem grada. A kao umjetnica zapo\u010dela je s umjetni\u010dko-aktivisti\u010dkim projektom slikanja tog \u201cnovog izgleda Zagreba\u201d, onih promjena koje su zbog pretjerane komercijalizacije javnog prostora, prvenstveno pje\u0161a\u010dkih zona, trgova i ulica te zelenih povr\u0161ina, izmjenile izgled i dojam grada te bitno utjecale na promjenu navika kori\u0161tenja tih javnih prostora grada (<em>Trg bana Jela\u010di\u0107a,<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Bogovi\u0107eva ulica, Cvjetni trg, Var\u0161avska ulica, , Kvaternikov trg<\/em>). Tako\u0111er, umjetnica odabire i neke primjere novije arhitekture u centru, ali i \u0161ire (<em>zgrada Muzi\u010dke akademije, Maksimirski stadion<\/em>) te urbane rekonstrukcije (<em>Trg \u017ertava fa\u0161izma<\/em>) ocjeniv\u0161i ih kao urbanisti\u010dki neprimjerene, a estetski substandardne.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tako\u0111er, fokus su joj transformacija i nestanak prostora s kulturnim sadr\u017eajima koji su \u0161irem centru Grada bili dodana vrijednost na naslije\u0111enu urbanisti\u010dku matricu. Tako je za umjetnicu neprihvatljiva prenamjena prostora brojnih zagreba\u010dkih kina (<em>Jadran, Zagreb, Triglav,<\/em>&#8230;) naj\u010de\u0161\u0107e u trgovine. Tome pridodaje i posljednje&nbsp;<em>Kino Europa<\/em>&nbsp;koje je filmskoj publici, zbog hirovitog postupka zatvaranja, najnoviji primjer nerazumijevanja urbanih vrijednosti Grada. I zato odnedavno umjetnica u javnim, visoko urbanim dijelovima Grada Zagreba provodi akciju re-imenovanja tih prostora kada na njih kri\u0161om lijepi naljepnice s izvornim nazivima prostora, odnosno akciju \u201cOvo je ru\u017eno\u201d (od 2017.) kada ozna\u010dava urbana, vizualno devastira mjesta ispred kojih ostavlja transparent s istovjetnim natpisom. Sukladno svojem uobi\u010dajenom umjetni\u010dkom postupku izra\u017eavanja u razli\u010ditim medijima, umjetnica multimedijski obra\u0111uje pitanje politike grada i gospodarenja njime.<\/p>\n<p>Njezin se karakteristi\u010dan slikarski rukopis brzih i \u0161irokih poteza kistom i naizgled nedovr\u0161enih ploha boje u kontekstu te teme referira upravo na karakter procesa izgradnje. Gra\u0111evine neukusa, nevje\u0161to i hitro izvedene, a \u010desto i nedovr\u0161ene, demonstracija su mo\u0107i. Naposljetku, mo\u0107 nad gospodarenjem gradom i urbanim promjenama klju\u010dan su podtekst ove izlo\u017ebe. Tako Nina Horvat prikazuje nove urbane sadr\u017eaje obilje\u017eene konzumerizmom i komodifikacijom grada, poput Bogovi\u0107eve ulice i Cvjetnog trga koje je zahvatila takozvana \u201ekafi\u0107izacija\u201c. Ti gradski prostori, dupkom ispunjeni i pretrpani stolcima i suncobranima, zapravo su ispra\u017enjeni od zna\u010denja. A tako je i s prikazima Kvaternikaovog trga, koji zbog svoje nove urbane strukture nikad nije za\u017eivio, s gara\u017eama pomo\u0107u kojih se stje\u010de sve ve\u0107i kapital i omogu\u0107uje daljnje zaga\u0111enje centra grada. \u0160ator s trga bana Jela\u010di\u0107a, koji polako postaje amblem grada, Nina Horvat prikazuje u svojoj napadnoj bjelini koja zauzima gotovo \u010ditavu povr\u0161inu slike, kao \u0161to je to slu\u010daj i u stvarnosti. Pra\u017enjenje od zna\u010denja umjetnica apostrofira i na slici koju naziva NLO, a prikazuje dana\u0161nju hortikulturnu situaciju oko Doma Hrvatskog dru\u0161tva likovnih umjetnika. Uklanjanjem raslinja i stabala, taj prostor gra\u0111anima postaje stran i nepoznat, poput nezemaljskog entiteta. No jednako tako, umjetni\u010dini linearni potezi i simplificirani prikaz doista evociraju izgled svemirske letjelice.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit;\">Osim takve vrste materijalisti\u010dke estetizacije, grad ugro\u017eava i instrumentalizacija koja se ponajvi\u0161e o\u010dituje u prenamjeni neko\u0107 klju\u010dnih epicentara kulturnog \u017eivota Zagreba. Nina Horvat tako slikarski prikazuje prazne arkade nekada\u0161njeg Jadran kina u fazi iznajmljivanja prostora, dok na drugoj slici istog simptomati\u010dnog naslova \u201eDva lica napretka\u201c, vidimo dana\u0161nju situaciju. Prostore Jadran kina i njegove arkade zauzele su ru\u017ei\u010daste boje du\u0107ana kozmetike. Ilustrativan je to primjer gradskih politika, ali i projekcija dru\u0161tvenih odnosa gdje se nau\u0161trb kulture valoriziraju potro\u0161a\u010dki svjetonazori usmjereni na uga\u0111anje egu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tim se fenomenom Nina Horvat bavi i u svojem idu\u0107em radu \u201eNestali sadr\u017eaji\u201c, slijedu fotografija njezinih urbanih aktivisti\u010dkih intervencija gradom Zagrebom. Autorica na pro\u010delja objekata koji su neko\u0107 disali kulturni \u017eivot grada lijepi naljepnice s natpisom njihove nekada\u0161nje funkcije. To su kina Triglav, Gri\u010d, Europa, galerija Likum, Karas, knji\u017eare Mladost, Kugli i druge va\u017ene ustanove koje su bile u samom sredi\u0161tu grada. Danas su njihovi prostori ispra\u017enjeni ili su na njihovom mjestu ve\u0107 spomenuti kafi\u0107i ili strani modni i kozmeti\u010dki du\u0107ani koji podlije\u017eu geometrijama mo\u0107i te figuriraju kao oblici protoka i prora\u010duna.<\/p>\n<p>S druge strane pola gentrifikacijskih procesa odsutnost je brige za grad koju Nina Horvat predo\u010dava isticanjem estetskog suda. Naime, u drugom radu, tako\u0111er slijedu fotografija, vidimo njezinu urbanu intervenciju pod nazivom \u201eOvo je ru\u017eno\u201c. Autorica akciju provodi od 2017. godine lijepe\u0107i naljepnice i postavljaju\u0107i transparente s natpisom \u201eOvo je ru\u017eno\u201c na odabrane lokacije. To su mali elementi negativne urbane transformacije koji se s vremenom sve vi\u0161e \u0161ire i mno\u017ee. Prazni i zapu\u0161teni objekti, sme\u0107e na ulicama, grafitirana pro\u010delja, reklame na golemim kontejnerima i nezgrapnim ekranima, sve to autorica ocjenjuje kao ru\u017eno. Taj deterministi\u010dki i estetski sud ne odnosi se samo na krajnju pojavnost elemenata gradskog \u017eivota, nego i na procese kojima je do takve vrste vizualnog one\u010di\u0161\u0107enja do\u0161lo.<\/p>\n<p>\u010ci\u0161\u0107enjem i one\u010di\u0161\u0107enjem Nina Horvat se bavi ready made objektima, kantama za sme\u0107e gradske \u010cisto\u0107e koje smje\u0161ta u galeriju. Rije\u010d je o dva rada koji vrlo jasno do\u010daravaju apsurdnost koli\u010dine i manjka kanti i kontejnera u gradu Zagrebu. Rad \u201eKantograd\u201c desetak su kanti, odnosno kontejnera postavljenih u zbijenu formaciju tako da doista tvore obrise nekog grada, no istovremeno im je funkcija zakinuta. Njihova zbijenost rezultira time da im nije mogu\u0107e pristupiti, pa tako postaju beskorisni, unato\u010d njihovom broju. Ilustracija je to stvarne situacije u kojoj se grad pretrpava kontejnerima, no njihova se namjena ne ispunjava. Odvoza nerijetko nema, a recikla\u017ea ostaje upitna. Drugi pak rad, \u201eSatelitsko naselje\u201c sastoji se od jedne kante i jednog kontejnera udaljenih pristojnim razmakom. Tim objektom autorica apostrofira problem u naseljima na rubovima grada. Za razliku od centra grada, gdje kontejnera ima previ\u0161e, na periferiji kanti i kontejnera nedostaje. Gra\u0111anske potrebe su potpuno zatomljene, kao da grad ne \u010dine ljudi, kao da grad nije mre\u017ea susreta nego elaborirani sustav naplate \u017eivota.<\/p>\n<p>U polju umjetnosti Nina Horvat pronalazi prostor slobode u kojemu mo\u017ee artikulirati i komentirati aktualne politike grada. Njezin je rad u tom smislu aktivisti\u010dki anga\u017eiran i politi\u010dan. Posve\u0107enim istra\u017eivanjem ona zahva\u0107a razdoblje u \u017eivotu grada Zagreba obilje\u017eeno komodifikacijom i gentrifikacijom. Nina Horvat na taj na\u010din vrlo lucidno detektira lokalno \u0161irenje kafi\u0107a, du\u0107ana, shopping centara koje \u010ditamo kao novo vi\u0111enje svakodnevice unutar globalnog kapitalisti\u010dkog re\u017eima. U kojemu dakako, nema mjesta za kulturne sadr\u017eaje. Kroz mikrosituacije poput reklama na kantama za sme\u0107e ona se osvr\u0107e na makrosituacije \u010ditavog \u017eivota grada. Tretira ih kao simptome bolesti koja je zahvatila dru\u0161tvo u kojem je stjecanje kapitala va\u017enije od \u017eivota gra\u0111ana.<\/p>\n<p>Grad kao takav je utopija, projekt budu\u0107nosti, mjesto stalnih po\u010detaka. Stoga Nina Horvat od grada tra\u017ei da bude lijep, da ne bude ru\u017ean. Naslov \u201eOvo nije lijepo\u201c ne odnosi se samo na estetsko vrednovanje, nego i na na\u010din na koji se doga\u0111aju urbanisti\u010dki procesi, u kojima gra\u0111ani nemaju nikakvu ulogu. No, on je i igra rije\u010di, autoreferencijalna \u0161ala na vlastiti rad i mo\u017eebitno upozorenje gledateljima \u2013 ono \u0161to \u0107ete vidjeti ne\u0107e vam se svidjeti.
